Multitude Monday: It's been a while

I know, I know. I've been absolutely terrible about posting my MM. Let's just say it's been a very ROUGH month. We've been sick LOTS, Rachel got really sick and was hospitalized, my grandpa passed away, we had to travel to Florida to see my grandpa and go to his funeral two weekends in a row, because of all of the stress and worry I got a migraine that caused me to lose my vision for 40 minutes, Trey has been working out of town a lot, Caroline has decided to sleep only until 4-5 AM this past week, we just put our house up on the market, and SG just came down with a double ear infection right before her birthday. I hope I don't sound like I am complaining. I'm just a little weary. What's funny about all of this is that we had a guest speaker at our church not too long ago who shared a message about the our christian walk and used the analogy of the ocean to explain it. He said sometimes we go through times in our lives when it seems like one wave after another has just knocked us over, but eventually with perseverance we experience a calm in the storm if we hold true to our foundation and learn to trust the Lord. Boy, am I ready for a calm. While all of these things have happened, I've tried to remain thankful. I've been successful some days and not so successful other days. I know this is all part of growth. It's a growth spurt that just keeps me hungry for the Lord's hand in my life. During this time, I've written down a list of things I'm thankful for.

493. Thankful for Nana’s help while Trey was away on business for 6 DAYS and 5 NIGHTS
494. SG putting the paci in C’s mouth- clapping and saying, “Yay!” after she was finished!
495. SG’s fake “Nigh, night” She lays down and tries to pretend like she is snoring- It is hilarious
496. SG saying “Whoa, birds” while pointing outside at the birds in our tree
497. SG saying “Help please!” when she needs our help
498. Caroline’s sweet smile and little laugh- sometimes her laugh even catches her off guard

experienced a scary loss of vision while Trey was out of town
516. getting to celebrate my grandfather’s life at his funeral- I will miss him so much, but I’m so thankful the Lord allowed him to have a long life (87 years) so that I could spend as much time as possible with him while he was living
517. Trey's love and support during this very difficult time- I'm so thankful for the husband he is
