"Twick or Tweat!"

Even though we've been sick most of this fall, we still managed to squeeze a little fun out of it by participating in and attending a few fun events! Here's a little photo diary of our fun times this past week!

We started our fall fun at Gentry Farm in Franklin, TN!
This was the most decent picture that we could get with these two squirmy girls. Thank you Andrea Vaughn for sending this to me! The girls just wouldn't stay still. I don't blame them! There were way to many fun things to do like...

Swing on tire swings, go through corn mazes, play with old wooden toys, go on hayrides and...

meet new friends!

Even Caroline was able to socialize with new pals!

I think SG might have also met her first boyfriend.
Her daddy was NOT happy with this little photo.

The day before Halloween SG let her artistic juices flow while painting pumpkins. Her "pint, purple, and silva" pumpkin was very "boo"-tiful!

Soon enough, Halloween came around and the girls got all dolled up in their costumes!

Caroline, excuse me- Rapunzel, didn't seem very excited about the cold weather.

But, Cinderelli was so excited to go to the ball...I mean "twick or treating."

Can't you tell just a little???

We hope you have had just as fabulous of a fall as we've had!

Best wishes,
Snow White, Prince Charming (sometimes-bahaha), Cinderelli, and Rapunzel (before hair)

Look Whooo's One!

Before I even had Caroline, I always thought owl themed parties were sooooo cute. So, once I found out I was having a baby girl, in the fall, I knew I wanted to use this theme for her 1st birthday party! What's so crazy to me is that I think she kind of looks like a little wise old owl. She's got those beautiful big round eyes. I've been planning this adorable party for a while, and I was so pleased with how everything turned out! It was extra special because this was the first party we've ever had at our house! I've included pictures below of her special day! Enjoy!

I purchased this digital file invitation from etsy: here. I LOVED how it turned out! This is just an example. I didn't really want the whole world to know my address ;).

While I know that Owl's don't live in nests, I liked the idea of including stacked wreaths as a little rustic touch. I made the owl out of scrap book paper. This was the centerpiece of the main table for the party.

I LOVED the way the chandelier decor turned out! I got the idea off of pinterest. You can find my inspiration here. I made all of the pom poms you see (minus the lanterns) by reading this tutorial that I found on pinterest, also.

This was the main table! It included campfire food side items such as: different types of chips and dips and a smores trail mix. We also had a sliders bar (mini hamburger/cheeseburger bar) located in the kitchen with all the trimmings, but I forgot to take a picture :).

The lighting in these pictures aren't that great because of the window located behind the table. However, I'm glad to have them as a memory.

I found inspiration for the creation of this cute rustic tree here (you'll need to scroll down to see it). However, after looking around for dried burch wood branches I decided it would be cheaper to use a free branch that I found lying on the ground alongside the road! I was very satisfied with the way my FREE branches turned out!

I made the banner using scrapbook paper. I also printed a few extra invitations and cut the owl out for a section of the banner! I love how it turned out. It says, "I am 1!" I got the idea from etsy.

Here's the link.

The polka dot balloons came from Party City. I got them blown up a Publix.

I LOVE how the cake turned out! Meme got it for us from Oh Goodies Cake and Cookies! She did a terrific job. I gave her this picture that I found on pinterest and I think she exceeded my expectation and made it look even cuter! How that is even possible, I don't know??

Baby girl LOVED how everything turned out too! Thank you to all our friends and family who made this a very memorable day! We love all of you!

This year, Caroline's actual birthday fell on a Thursday. So, since I knew daddy would have to go to work, I tried to plan something special for us girls to do during the day.
